Valentine’s Day ❤️

I mean really, since when did we start celebrating Valentine’s Day?

We don’t normally celebrate this day, because I personally think it’s just a “commercialism scheme” and the husband believes that love should be celebrated everyday. But I think we have succumbed to it, I don’t know why. I gave him a card and cinema ticket for Deadpool, and let me show you what I got…

Yes, not one but two dozens of flowers, the Daniel Wellington wrist candy was a part of his pasabog too. But the best part and my favourite part was the card.

Working full-time and looking after two teenagers and a toddler is very demanding, and very tiring, we hardly have any time for ourselves. But that’s ok, we’re used to that anyway. Date night is usually spent sneaking  in the living room, drinking coffee and watching our favourite program while the children are upstairs. I know we’re probably boring, but boring is not bad. 🙃

Flowers today, hopefully the world tomorrow. An excerpt on what’s written inside.

And now I know why we celebrate this day, maybe because for us, it gives us time to pause a little, to ignore our busy life for a second and appreciate what we have… Each other & our children.

I love you B!

High Five! ✋🏼

July! Summer holiday and my birth month. We’ve decided to visit my sister who happens to live in California for four-weeks! The whole family thinks we would find it hard to beat this holiday, let me show you why…

And who would forget that long haul drive to the breathtaking Grand Canyon?

The friends that I’ve never seen for a long time…

And the place where I hope to live one day, or even just buy a house… (I can dream, can’t I?) 😂

🎥 Summing up our most recent (and most favourite) family holiday in this video. Enjoy! 😍

❤️ We didn’t know we were making memories, all we knew was, we’re having fun.❤️

Oh! and by the way, it was my husband who made (and directed) the video. Well done B! 😘

One More Chance Pa More!

Panot ba ‘sya?

Ano ba kase pinag aawayan? Dahil ‘di nakabayad ng kuryente?! ‘Di ba nila nababalitaan ang online payment o bayad centre? Si Popoy naman talaga, oo!

 Si Erik Santos.

Tahimik na tahimik tas biglang hihiyaw ‘tong si Erik ng “I’ll never goooo far away from you…”

Hi Paul!

We picked fresh roses from our garden, went to church and said a little prayer. It’s been a year since Paul has left us, and we miss him dearly. He maybe gone, but he’ll never be forgotten.

Rest well brother!

Let the Summer Holiday Fun Begins!

With kids now getting bored at home, the husband and I decided to take the kids out for a day trip. We thought we can take Zoey, where the boys went nine years ago, yes! It’s been nine years. And with the weather on our side, it’ll be the perfect time to hit the road and go back to East Links Family Park!

We cycled, took a train ride, played mini golf, jumped on the trampoline, and had a picnic for lunch.Zoey fed the animals, it was really good. Zoey was also able to name all the animals that she’s seen and copy the sound that each animals make, it was really cool!

Yes, yet again the husband is no where to be seen, he’s just happy to take snaps of us while he stays behind the lens.

Dear Charo

Dear Charo,

Ibang klase kasi ang pritong galunggong ni Inay, ‘pag may natira sa pritong galunggong n’ya sa tanghali, pi-pirito n’ya pa ulit ‘yun kinagabihan, at ‘pag may natira pa rin, pi-pirito n’ya ulit ‘yun kina umagahan and so on and so fort. Tipong may pagka -immortal at tipong ‘di s’ya lulubay hanggat ‘di nabibigyan ng justice ‘yung galunggong na nabili n’ya. Minsan nga naaawa na’ko sa itsura nung isda, lasog-lasog na, hiwalay na ‘yung ulo sa katawan pero my mom was like, prito pa more like there’s no tomorrow! Wala! Yung pake n’ya sa galunggong naka-bakasyon! So wapakels!

Medyo homesick,

Mila

CHARO: Wala itong lesson. Wala ring hugot.
